Homecoming Parade and Burning of the C
9/21/17 @ 7pm
The Parade is a Hawaiian Theme. Line up is for parade is
6:30 pm and parade will begin at 7pm.
Before the burning of the all homecoming nominees will be announced
except the royal court. Entry is free into this event.
Homecoming Parade – 9/21/17
Theme: Hawaiian
Floats & Entries:
-No riding on hoods of vehicles
-No live animals
-All Floats and entries must be supervised by a teacher or adult with Blue Card
Schedule:
6:15 All floats and entries must be prepared for staging in the football parking lot.
7:00 Blessing of the Bishop Carmody Field
7:10 Parade
7:40 Burning of the C (at flag poles).
Please note the parade route has been changed. Once leaving the football parking lot, all entries will make a RIGHT. Following the road, next all entries will make a LEFT into the parking lot. Then all entries will go around the parking lot. A map is attached.
All vehicles must be moved from the parking lot in the front of the school by 5:00 PM on Thursday 9/21. There will be absolutely NO VEHICLES allowed in the front parking lot during the parade.
All activities will begin at the Bishop Carmody Field.
Family, Friends, and faculty are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs for the parade. A great area for viewing the parade is the grass area in the middle of the front parking lot.
