Sophomore Retreat 2017
is just one month away. The
retreat is Dec 2-3 and the theme is Breakthrough. The hope and prayer for the
Sophomores is that through the grace of God their chains of sin might be broken
and they might experience a breakthrough in their relationship with Jesus
Christ! Please join me in praying for the retreat success. In a special way I
would like to ask for the intercession of Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati and Bl.
Chiara Luce Badano for the success of the retreat. Please also consider helping
in a more formal capacity with the retreat meetings and/or the retreat weekend
itself. At the meetings we are in need of adults to help in the formation of
Junior and Senior staff in four different teams (Small Group Leaders, Service
Team, Music Team, and Prayer Team) and on the retreat there is always a million
different things going on that are in need of adult supervision. The dates and
times for the meeting and retreat is as follows:
1st Meeting – Thursday, November 9th 4:00-5:30
2nd Meeting – Wednesday, November 15th 4:00-5:30 (Moved
from Thursday because of Social Studies field trip to San Antonio)
3rd Meeting – Tuesday, November 28th 4:00-7:00 (Moved
from Thursday because of Fine Arts Holiday Showcase)
