Drumline Auditions

Anyone interested in auditioning for the St. JPII Drumline for the 2018-2019 school year contact Ms. Reyes at creyes@jpiihighschool.org
 
High School auditions will be held 8th period and afterschool next week on Thursday and Friday.
Auditions for incoming freshmen and transfer students will be on Thursday, May 24th beginning at 4:00pm.
 
Audition packet materials are available in the music hall with Ms. Reyes. All potential members are required to know rudiments and have sight reading abilities.

StJPII Lemonade Day 

is THIS Saturday!  Come out and support our young entrepreneurs from 8 A.M. to noon at the St. JPII front lawn! 


 

 

Junior and Senior Prom

will be next Saturday, May 19th, at the Museum of Science and History.  The, "Night on the Nile"  will be from 8 P.M. to midnight.  Tickets are on sale during lunch or in Ms. Frazier's room.  Cost is $50 a person or $80 a couple.  School dress code is printed on the back of each ticket. Any student wishing to bring a guest must get a pre-approval form from the office and turn it in there, as well.

Any parent who is in need of parent hours can help chaperone the prom.  Or, gift cards can also be donated to the front office as prizes for the attendees.  Please contact Nieves Frazier nfrazier@jpiihighschool.org.  Thank you for your generosity to our school! 





Five senior student council members attended the  City Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 8th for the proclamation of Lemonade Day.  Shania Esquivel, Student Council President, read the Proclamation of Gratitude before the council.  You can see these on the link below:

The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony for new members will be on May 17th at 6:00 PM in the chapel.



Yearbooks 

are selling out fast! Be sure to get one before May 18th, if you want to pay $45 instead of $50. We are planning an autograph party for those who buy one. We hope to see YOU there!

Spring Raffle

Congratulations to Henry and Sandy Vasquez who won our Spring Raffle.   They will receive $ 2,500 gift cards to Southwest Vacations and $ 500 cash.  Have a wonderful vacation!!!! Thanks to all who supported our fundraiser.
